Sky Settles Everything is a beautifully captured 90 minute documentary captured in Camas Prairie, Idaho County, high mountain prairie where the Nezperce gathered Camas Root for food and it holds the town Grangeville, Idaho which is the county seat of Idaho County.

The film's creators and one of the primary subjects are Oregonians. It's a film about art from living, even in the most unlikely places. We compare two character-rich cousins in their chosen fields: A 73 year-old Idaho cattle rancher, Wayne James, and well-known 65+ year old Oregon poet, Verlena Orr. We tell the story of Wayne James--the way of life of this aging cattle rancher--and explain that the family-sized ranch is becoming more rare. We also introduce the poetry of Wayne's first cousin, Verlena Orr, who grew up with Wayne on the Idaho prairie where Wayne has worked and lived his whole life. Verlena left ranch life as a young woman. She now writes poetry about the landscapes and the lifestyle she remembers while Wayne continues to raise cattle on the ranch. Between segments featuring ranch work, family and traditions, Verlena reads her poems in the backdrop of the landscape. They discuss life, death and love in the stunning landscape that unites them.
